One of the events that I'm most excited to participate in this year is today's Indie Bridal Party. It is basically a handmade, local awesomeness bridal show for cool brides. I'm one of many vendors exhibiting so if you don't already have tickets yet, you definitely gotta get some! It's happy hour style with drinks, live music, a photobooth and tons of more fun- a perfect way to unwind on a Thursday while simultaneously being productive and knocking some wedding planning out of the way.

A Crafternoon at Whole Foods
Had tons of fun at Whole Foods Bethesda Wednesday afternoon making crafts and snacking on healthy snacks! We made book burst garlands, paper garlands and some magazine bow garlands. Such fun!
It had actually been a while since I had crafted in a non-business oriented way and it was so nice and relaxing! I can't wait until after this last insane holiday craft show weekend where I have time to craft for me again. *Sigh..
Join Me Today for a Crafternoon / Snack at Whole Foods Bethesda!
I'm really excited about my Crafternoon holiday decor workshop at Whole Foods in Bethesda today. I'll be demo'ing how to make your own book burst garlands as a really easy peasy holiday decoration that costs basically nothing, as well as some ways to get creative with your gift wrap. Expect lots of book paper and twine!
Also, expect some delicious snacks - another easy DIY for the holidays and a great, easy gift for co-workers and foodies alike. See you there!
Join me at the Luri and Wilma Release Party! March 16 7-10p
I was recently extremely lucky to make a connection with the lovely ladies behind the Luri and Wilma magazine through the amazing ladies of Ginger Root Design in DC where my candles are for sale. Luri and Wilma is a DC based eco-friendly fashion, DIY and all other things amazing magazine. They've been operating for a little while now, but this March/April issue of the zine is their very first print edition!
I've been a big fan of the mag for a while and was thrilled to have the opportunity to not only model for this issue with a wicked hairdo, but also got to have my candles featured in their tea party spread. The gals are having a launch party in a few weeks, so you should definitely come join the fun! There's a free ticket where you get entry, one drink and all the tea party snacks you can handle, but the better deal is obv the $25 ticket where you get all the free stuff, plus another drink and a copy of the mag with a tote bag! Swaggg. I'll be selling candles at the party and what better way is there to shop than a little drunk, really?
Get your tickets here! & I'll see you there on March 16!
Nana Valentine Mart Recap
Thanks to all who came out on Saturday for Nana's Handmade Valentine Mart! I had a great time and got to meet lots of new and fun people, as well as get to know some fellow DC designers better. Enjoy some shots of my displays and some fun Valentines that kids were making all day. Follow me on Instagram to get my live photos!
Handmade Valentine Mart - this Saturday at Nana DC
Join me on Saturday at Nana DC for their Handmade Valentine Mart! It will feature lots of local DC artists with fun, unique gifts for your Valentine, friends and to treat-yo-self! I know I will be doing plenty of that this weekend.
Now you may have heard that Nana closed - they did close their retail space but they are keeping it to hold these sort of special events. So for Saturday, you can return to that beautiful little spot on Mount Pleasant Street and shop once more, and this time with all local designers, live music and lots of fun on a wintery day.
I'll be there with my candles, matches, scarves, socks, sachets and catnip toys. Come early and snag a tie for your beau!
